📝 Content & Intellectual Property

Dictionary respects both our proprietary content and user-generated contributions:

• Dictionary Content: Definitions, etymologies, phonetics, and editorial notes are licensed for personal and educational use. Redistribution or commercial scraping requires a partnership agreement.
• User Contributions: If you submit definitions, examples, or corrections, you retain copyright. By submitting, you grant Dictionary a non-exclusive license to display and improve the platform.
• Takedown Requests: Submit a DMCA or content removal request for infringing material. We respond within 48 hours of valid notice.
