1. Introduction & Scope
Welcome to DirConnect Directory ("Platform," "Service," or "we/us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our directory platform, including all associated web pages, mobile applications, APIs, and listing management tools. By registering, browsing, submitting listings, or utilizing any features of DirConnect, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
3. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
As a user of DirConnect, you agree to:
- Use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.
- Submit only authentic business listings, accurate contact information, and truthful descriptions of services or products.
- Refrain from scraping, crawling, indexing, or using automated tools to access, collect, or extract data from the Platform without prior written consent.
- Avoid posting misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringing content. Misrepresentation of business credentials or fake reviews will result in immediate suspension.
4. Intellectual Property & Listing Rights
All proprietary technology, design, branding, and platform architecture of DirConnect remain the exclusive property of DirConnect Directory. By submitting a business listing, you grant DirConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and optimize your listing information across the Platform and affiliated marketing channels. You retain ownership of your underlying business data but warrant that you have the right to disclose such information.
5. Privacy & Data Consent
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal and business data as described therein, including analytics tracking, search functionality, and third-party integrations required to operate the directory.
6. Modifications & Updates
DirConnect reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of these Terms or the Platform at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of DirConnect following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
7. Termination & Limitation of Liability
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms or for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity. DirConnect Directory is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, absolute accuracy of third-party listings, or specific business outcomes. Liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages is expressly limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from your use of DirConnect shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration if unresolved.
