- Opt-Out Choices: Unsubscribe from marketing communications, disable behavioral analytics, and manage cookie preferences at any time.
Account & Content Management
You retain full control over your FamilyNest account and the content you create or save:
- Profile Management: Edit family member details, age milestones, and notification preferences instantly.
- Content Curation: Filter articles, activities, and workshops by age group, topic, or difficulty. Hide categories you don't use.
- Download & Archive: Save your family journal, milestone tracker, and activity plans locally at any time.
- Account Deactivation/Deletion: Temporarily pause your account or permanently delete it. Deletion cannot be reversed and will remove all associated data within 30 days.
Any content you publish to public forums remains subject to our Community Guidelines, but you may edit or delete your own posts at any time before moderation action is taken.
Subscription & Billing Choices
We believe in transparent, flexible billing that respects your family's budget:
- Cancel Anytime: No long-term contracts. Your account will revert to the free Starter tier at the end of your billing cycle.
- Plan Changes: Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing instantly. Prorated adjustments apply automatically.
- Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. Contact support within the window for a full refund, no questions asked.
- Receipts & Records: Download invoices and payment history from your billing dashboard or via email request.
Community & Participation Rights
Our forums, groups, and comment sections are designed to be safe, supportive spaces for parents. You have the right to:
- Report & Block: Flag inappropriate content or block users who violate community standards. Reports are reviewed within 24โ48 hours.
- Privacy Controls: Keep your profile visible only to yourself, or share it selectively with specific groups.
- Moderation Appeals: If you believe a post was removed or an account action was applied in error, you may submit an appeal through the support center.
- Opt-Out of AI Processing: Disable AI-driven content recommendations or community matching features in your privacy settings.
Accessibility & Accommodations
FamilyNest is committed to inclusive design. We continuously improve our platform to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. You have the right to:
- Request accessible formats for guides, workshops, or support documents
- Use built-in text scaling, high-contrast mode, and screen reader optimizations

How to Exercise Your Rights
Most rights can be exercised directly through your account dashboard under Settings > Privacy & Controls. For requests that require manual processing:
