Last Updated: December 12, 2024

This section outlines the circumstances under which your InkWell account, published content, or active subscriptions may be terminated, suspended, or removed. Termination provisions apply to all users, authors, and subscribers utilizing our platform.

7.1 Voluntary Termination

You may terminate your InkWell account at any time by accessing your account settings and selecting "Delete Account", or by contacting our support team. Upon voluntary termination:

7.2 Involuntary Termination & Suspension

InkWell reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the platform without prior notice if we determine, in good faith, that you have:

Temporary suspensions may be issued pending investigation. You will be notified via the email address associated with your account, whenever legally permissible and operationally feasible.

7.3 Content Removal & Takedown

InkWell may remove or disable access to any user-generated content at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Note: Content removal does not automatically terminate your account. You may continue using platform features until your account is formally terminated under Section 7.2 or 7.4.

7.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination of your account, whether voluntary or involuntary:

  1. All licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
  2. You must discontinue all use of the InkWell platform and related services.
  3. Any outstanding fees or refunds will be settled according to our billing policies.
  4. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution clauses—will remain in effect.

7.5 Appeals & Support

If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe this was done in error, you may submit an appeal through our Termination Appeals Portal. Appeals must be submitted within 30 days of the termination notice and include relevant context or evidence. Review timelines typically range from 5 to 10 business days.
