Health & Safety Agreement

01. Introduction

This Health & Safety Agreement governs your use of IronForge Fitness ("the Company"), including all facilities, equipment, group classes, personal training sessions, and digital wellness services. By accessing any IronForge property or service, you agree to comply with all safety guidelines, operational policies, and emergency protocols outlined herein.

This agreement applies to all members, guests, day-pass users, staff, and contractors.

02. Medical Consultation & Disclosure

Participation in physical activity carries inherent health risks. You are responsible for ensuring your fitness level is appropriate for the activities you choose to undertake.

                        Important: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are pregnant, have experienced recent surgery, or have been advised by a physician to avoid physical exertion, you must consult a licensed healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program.
                    

IronForge Fitness reserves the right to request a medical clearance form for members over 45 years of age or those disclosing specific health conditions, in accordance with ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) guidelines.

03. Acknowledgement of Risk

You acknowledge that physical exercise, including but not limited to weight training, cardiovascular exercise, group fitness classes, martial arts, and functional training, involves inherent risks such as:

Strains, sprains, fractures, and joint injuries
Cardiovascular events, heat exhaustion, or dehydration
Damage to property or injury to third parties due to improper equipment use

By signing this agreement, you voluntarily assume these risks and agree to hold IronForge Fitness, its owners, employees, trainers, and affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Company.

04. Facility Rules & Conduct

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members, you agree to:

Follow all posted signage, lane markings, and instructor directives
Re-rack weights and return equipment to designated storage areas after use
Use machines and free weights only for their intended purposes
Maintain appropriate attire (closed-toe athletic shoes required)
Prohibit alcohol, illegal substances, or firearms on premises
Respect personal space and maintain professional conduct at all times

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund, at the discretion of IronForge management.

05. Hygiene & Equipment Care

IronForge Fitness maintains strict sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of illness and ensure equipment longevity.

Use the provided disinfectant sprays and towels on all equipment before and after use
Wipe down benches, mats, machines, and flooring promptly if you sweat, spill, or vomit
Do not use facilities if you have contagious illnesses (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, active skin infections)
Shower and use hygiene facilities appropriately after workouts

Management conducts daily deep-cleaning schedules. Report any sanitation or maintenance issues to front desk staff immediately.

06. Emergency Procedures & First Aid

IronForge Fitness is equipped with AEDs, first aid kits, and staff trained in CPR/AED certification. In the event of an emergency:

Notify the nearest staff member or trainer immediately
Follow evacuation routes in case of fire or structural emergency
Cooperate fully with emergency responders and facility management

You hereby grant IronForge Fitness permission to arrange for emergency medical treatment if you are unconscious or unable to consent. You agree to be financially responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

07. Privacy & Data Protection

IronForge Fitness collects health and fitness data solely for membership management, program customization, and emergency contact purposes. All personal information is processed in compliance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR/CCPA where applicable).

We do not sell, share, or disclose your health data to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or for emergency medical purposes.

I have read and understand the Health & Safety Agreement. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical exercise and agree to comply with all facility rules, hygiene standards, and emergency protocols. I authorize IronForge Fitness to seek emergency medical care on my behalf if necessary.

I consent to the collection and processing of my personal and health-related data for membership management and emergency purposes, in accordance with IronForge Fitness's Privacy Policy.
