Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: January 15, 2025
At Isdomain, we are committed to delivering exceptional naming, branding, and legal consulting services. To ensure complete transparency and protect both parties, we have established a clear and fair refund and cancellation policy. Please review the following terms carefully before engaging our services.
1. General Refund Eligibility
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@isdomain.com within 14 calendar days of your initial payment. Eligibility is determined by the service type, project stage, and whether substantial work has commenced.
2. Service-Specific Refund Terms
Brand Naming Services
- Pre-Research Phase: Full refund available if requested before our naming research, market analysis, and linguistic screening begin.
- Post-Research Phase: Once name generation, availability checks, and shortlisting are completed, deposits and project fees become non-refundable.
- Custom naming projects are tailored exclusively to your business objectives and cannot be resold or repurposed.
Branding & Identity Design
- Concept Development: Refunds are available up to 7 days after project kickoff, provided no initial concepts, mood boards, or brand frameworks have been delivered.
- Post-Delivery: Once initial logo concepts, color palettes, and brand guidelines are shared, the project is considered substantially performed. Refunds will not be issued, but additional revision rounds are accommodated per your package terms.
Legal Basics Consulting
- Consultation fees are charged on an hourly or fixed-fee basis and are non-refundable once the consultation, document review, or legal strategy session begins.
- Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
- Legal guidance provided is for informational and strategic purposes. It does not establish an attorney-client relationship unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate engagement letter.
3. Third-Party & External Costs
⚠️ All third-party expenses and government fees are strictly non-refundable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers
- Trademark filing, search, and government examination fees
- Business entity registration, state filing, and compliance costs
- Third-party software, stock assets, typography licenses, or platform subscriptions
These costs are paid directly to external vendors, registrars, or government agencies. Isdomain acts only as a facilitator and does not retain these funds. Refunds for third-party items must be requested directly from the respective provider, subject to their own terms and conditions.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email billing@isdomain.com with your invoice number, client name, and a brief explanation for the cancellation.
- Our accounts team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
- If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Transaction fees charged by payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Exceptions & Special Circumstances
Isdomain reserves the right to issue partial or full refunds at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Service failure, significant delays, or substantial deviation from agreed deliverables
- Force majeure events or extended unresponsiveness from our team beyond reasonable business hours
- Client-provided misinformation that impacts project viability (resolved on a case-by-case basis)
6. Policy Updates
This Refund Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business operations. The updated date will be displayed at the top of this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current policy terms.
