You are always in control of the information you share on LoveLink. You can update, edit, or remove any part of your profile at any time through your account settings. This includes your photos, bio, interests, location preferences, and relationship goals.
Quick Access: Go to Settings → Profile & Privacy to manage your personal information instantly.
2. Visibility & Privacy Settings
Customize Who Sees You
LoveLink gives you granular control over your visibility. You can choose to appear in search results, adjust your age and location range filters, or pause your profile without deleting it.
- Incognito Mode: Browse profiles without appearing in others’ recommendations.
- Block & Restrict: Instantly block or restrict users who make you uncomfortable.
- Photo Visibility: Choose to blur or hide photos from users you haven’t matched with.
3. Communication & Notification Preferences
We respect your inbox and your attention. You can customize exactly how and when you receive communications from LoveLink:
- In-App Messages: Enable read receipts, typing indicators, or message requests filtering.
- Email & SMS: Opt in or out of marketing emails, app updates, and date suggestions at any time.
- Do Not Disturb: Schedule quiet hours to pause non-urgent notifications.
All preferences can be managed in Settings → Notifications & Communication.
4. Data Access, Export & Deletion
Under applicable laws including GDPR, CCPA, and other regional privacy regulations, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Export: Download your profile data, match history, and messages in a standard format (JSON/CSV).
- Rectify: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and will remove all matches, messages, and profile data. This action cannot be undone.
5. Legal Rights & Regional Protections
Depending on your location, additional rights may apply:
- European Economic Area (GDPR): Rights to data portability, objection to processing, and restriction of processing.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): Rights to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Other Regions: We strive to comply with all applicable local data protection laws. Please consult your regional privacy regulator for specific guidance.
6. How to Exercise Your Rights
Most of the rights listed above can be exercised directly within the LoveLink app or website. For complex requests, data exports, or account deletion assistance, you can contact our Privacy & Compliance team:
