At Paws Source, we respect your privacy and are committed to giving you full control over your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding how we collect, use, and share your data. This section outlines those rights and explains how you can exercise them.

1 Right to Access

You have the right to request copies of your personal data from us. This enables you to verify the basis on which the processing is being done and check whether the data is being lawfully processed.

You can request a data access report by logging into your Paws Source account under Settings > Privacy > Data Export, or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.

2 Right to Rectification

If you believe any information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date, you have the right to have it updated. We will make reasonable efforts to correct or update the data as soon as possible.

You can update most of your profile information directly through your account dashboard. For other corrections, please contact our support team.

3 Right to Erasure

Also known as the "Right to be Forgotten," you can ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. This includes situations where:

• The data is no longer necessary for the original purpose.
• You withdraw consent.
• You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds.
• The data has been unlawfully processed.

Please note that we may retain certain data if required by law (e.g., tax records) or to legitimate interests such as preventing fraud.

4 Right to Restrict Processing

You have the right to ask us to "block" or suppress the processing of your personal data. This may apply when:

• Where we rely on legitimate interests and your particular situation outweighs those interests.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in our emails or updating your preferences in your account.

7 Withdrawal of Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process your personal data (e.g., for newsletters or cookies), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

8 Rights Regarding Automated Decision Making

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. Paws Source uses automated tools for fraud detection and service personalization, but these do not make sole automated decisions with significant impact. You always have the right to request human intervention.

9 Regulatory Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we process your personal data, please contact us first, and we will do our best to resolve your concerns. However, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:

• EU: Your local Data Protection Authority.
• UK: The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
• California: The California Department of Consumer Affairs.
