Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions from creators and backers.

How long does it take to receive my funding?
Once your campaign successfully reaches its goal and the campaign period ends, processing typically takes 5-7 business days. Funds are then transferred to your verified bank account. For campaigns running over 30 days, payouts are processed within 2 business days post-campaign.
What fees does RaiseIt charge?
We charge a flat 4% platform fee on successfully funded campaigns. Payment processing fees depend on your region (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). All fees are deducted before the final payout, and you can view a detailed breakdown in your campaign dashboard.
Can I cancel a backer's pledge?
Backers can request a refund within 14 days of pledging. After that, refunds are at the creator's discretion. We recommend communicating openly with your backers and updating your campaign page to manage expectations transparently.
How do I verify my identity to receive payouts?
Payout verification is required for security. Go to Settings → Payouts → Verify Identity. You'll need to provide a government-issued ID and a recent bank statement. This process is automated and usually completes within minutes.
What should I do if my campaign is flagged?
If your campaign is flagged for review, you will receive an email explaining the reason. Please respond to the email with any requested documentation. Our Trust & Safety team reviews appeals within 48 hours. Do not create duplicate campaigns while under review.
