1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the RaiseIt platform (including websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"), along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Platform Overview

RaiseIt is a crowdfunding marketplace that connects project creators with potential backers. We provide the technological infrastructure to facilitate the creation, promotion, and funding of projects. RaiseIt does not endorse, sponsor, or guarantee any project, nor do we control the ability of creators to deliver rewards or fulfill promises made on the platform.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

To use RaiseIt, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed.

4. Campaign Creation & Management

When you launch a campaign, you represent and warrant that you own or have authorized use of all materials submitted, and that the project complies with all applicable laws and our Community Guidelines. You are solely responsible for:

• Setting realistic funding goals and timelines
• Accurately describing the project, risks, and challenges
• Delivering rewards as promised, or providing full refunds if delivery is impossible
• Communicating transparently with backers throughout the campaign lifecycle

RaiseIt reserves the right to suspend, remove, or modify any campaign that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies, without prior notice or liability.

5. Backing Campaigns & Payments

When you pledge to back a project, you authorize RaiseIt to process payment through our third-party payment processor. Pledges are generally collected only if the campaign meets or exceeds its funding goal by the deadline ("all-or-nothing" model), unless otherwise specified by the creator. By backing a project, you acknowledge that:

• Crowdfunding involves risk; projects may not be completed or delivered as promised
• Rewards are not products for sale; they are thank-you gestures with no guaranteed delivery timeline
• Refunds may be requested through our resolution system, but are not guaranteed unless the campaign is removed or the creator fails to deliver

6. Fees, Payouts & Taxes

RaiseIt charges a platform fee of 5% on successfully funded campaigns, plus payment processing fees (typically 3% + $0.30 per transaction) set by our payment provider. All fees are clearly disclosed before you finalize your campaign setup. Payouts are processed within 14 business days after a campaign ends successfully, subject to verification and compliance checks. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on funds received.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to RaiseIt. By posting content, you grant RaiseIt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our platform. RaiseIt's name, logo, software, design, and proprietary materials are owned by RaiseIt Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. User Conduct & Restrictions

You agree not to use RaiseIt to:

• Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
• Engage in money laundering, fraud, or other illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Scrape, mine, or otherwise collect user data without permission
• Circumvent platform fees or payment systems

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, fund holds, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

RaiseIt and its services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaiseIt, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users, including but not limited to failed deliveries, investment losses, or data breaches.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in San Francisco, California, rather than in court. Class action lawsuits and jury trials are waived by both parties. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may bring an individual action in small claims court.

11. Changes to Terms

RaiseIt may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notice. Your continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
