We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is based on the time of notice:

• 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% admin fee.
• 30-59 days: 50% refund, transferable to another trip within 12 months.
• Less than 30 days: No refund, but you can transfer your booking to someone else (subject to approval).

We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Learn more about our recommended providers.

SummitX provides all group equipment including tents, cooking gear, ropes, technical climbing equipment, and first aid kits. Personal gear such as clothing, sleeping bags, and personal first aid items must be brought by you.

Every booking comes with a detailed Digital Packing List sent 60 days before departure. You can also rent personal gear from our partners through our Gear Rental Program.

Safety is our top priority. All our guides are certified by the Wilderness Medical Association and have 10+ years of experience. We maintain a safety record with zero major incidents over the last 5 years. Every trip includes:

Absolutely! Over 40% of our adventurers join us solo. You'll be placed in a shared tent with someone of the same gender if preferred, or in a private tent for a small supplement fee. Solo travelers often form the strongest bonds during our trips. We have specific Solo Traveler Meetups before departure to help you connect with fellow adventurers.

Yes! Our culinary team is experienced in preparing meals for various dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut allergies, and halal. Please notify us at the time of booking and re-confirm 30 days prior to departure. While we do our best, please note that in remote wilderness areas, ingredient availability may vary.
