Warping usually stems from uneven moisture absorption. If one side of the wood gets wet or dries faster than the other, it bends. Fix it by balancing indoor humidity (use a dehumidifier or humidifier), ensuring proper ventilation, and allowing new wood to acclimate for 48-72 hours before installation. Severe cases may require professional planing or replacement.

White rings are usually moisture trapped in the finish. Try rubbing a paper towel wrapped around a cooled iron (low heat, no steam) gently over the spot. For darker rings, use a mild wood polish or a paste of baking soda and mineral oil. Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid excessive water or harsh chemicals.

Sagging doors typically indicate loose hinges, stripped screw holes, or frame settling. Tighten all hinge screws first. If screws spin, fill the hole with wood glue and toothpicks, let dry, then reinstall. For European-style hinges, adjust the depth and side-to-side screws with a Phillips head. Heavy doors may need additional mounting plates or longer screws into wall studs.
