Click the "Sign Up" button on our homepage, enter your email and create a password, then verify your identity with a government-issued ID. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes. Once verified, you'll receive a welcome email with setup instructions.
Yes, you can link up to 5 external bank accounts or credit cards. This allows us to aggregate your financial data for better budgeting insights. All connections are secured with read-only Plaid technology, meaning we can never move funds without your explicit authorization.
Log in to your dashboard, navigate to Settings → Profile. From there, you can update your name, email, phone number, and mailing address. Sensitive changes like email updates will require a security verification step.

Security & Privacy

WealthGuard uses 256-bit AES encryption, the same standard used by major banks. We are SOC 2 Type II certified and undergo quarterly penetration testing. All data is stored in isolated, access-controlled environments, and we never sell your information to third parties.
While not strictly required for basic accounts, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA for all users. Professional and Elite plan members have mandatory 2FA. You can set it up via authenticator apps (Google Authenticator, Authy) or SMS in your account security settings.
Immediately contact our security team at security@wealthguard.com or call 1-800-WEALTHG. We will temporarily freeze your account, reset all credentials, and investigate the incident. We also offer account takeover protection that automatically flags suspicious login patterns.

Billing & Plans

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), as well as ACH bank transfers for annual billing. Enterprise clients can also pay via wire transfer or invoice with NET-30 terms.
Yes. Monthly plans can be changed or canceled at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Downgrades will prorate your remaining balance. We don't charge early cancellation fees on monthly plans.
Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial with full access to features. No credit card is required to start. If you decide WealthGuard isn't right for you during the trial, you won't be charged. After activation, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Investments & Trading

You can trade US-listed stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, and fractional shares. Professional and Elite members also gain access to options trading, REITs, and alternative investment pools. All investments are FDIC/SIPC protected up to applicable limits.
You can start with as little as $50. Our fractional shares feature allows you to buy pieces of high-value stocks without buying a full share. Automatic round-up investments can help you grow your portfolio gradually from spare change.
Yes, capital gains and dividends are subject to standard tax laws. At the end of each tax year, we automatically generate IRS Form 1099-B and 1099-DIV reports. Elite plan members receive direct tax-loss harvesting and optimized distribution strategies.
