How Webui Began
From a shared whiteboard to a platform used by thousands.
The Spark
Two former product designers and a frontend engineer realized they were spending more time fixing handoff gaps than building features. Webui started as an internal prototype.
First Release
We launched a closed beta with 50 teams. The feedback was clear: teams wanted a single source of truth for UI components that designers and developers could both edit.
Scaling the Vision
With renewed investment and a growing community, we expanded our engine to support real-time collaboration, version control, and framework-agnostic exports.
Building the Future
Today, Webui is used by startups and enterprises alike. We continue to iterate with our community, focusing on AI-assisted workflows and deeper integrations.
