Welcome to CloudNexus. These Fees & Payment Terms ("Terms") govern all billing, invoicing, payment methods, and financial obligations associated with our cloud infrastructure, hosting, and managed services. By creating an account, deploying resources, or using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Billing Cycle & Invoicing

All services are billed on a monthly recurring basis, unless an annual commitment is explicitly selected. Your billing cycle begins on the date your account is activated and resets on the same calendar day each month.

  • Invoice Generation: Invoices are generated automatically on the first day of each billing cycle.
  • Delivery: Invoices are sent to the registered email address on file and are available in your CloudNexus Dashboard under Billing → Invoices.
  • Net Terms: Standard accounts operate on a Net-0 basis (payment due upon receipt). Enterprise customers may qualify for Net-30 terms upon credit approval.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

CloudNexus accepts the following payment methods for all transactions:

  • Major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Wire transfer (ACH/SEPA for eligible regions)
  • CloudNexus Wallet Credits (prepaid)

All payment data is encrypted using AES-256 and processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. Fee Structure & Pricing Tiers

Pricing is transparent and scales with your usage. Base plan fees cover allocated compute, storage, and standard bandwidth. Additional charges apply for overages and add-on services.

4. Overage & Usage Charges

If your account exceeds the included resources in your selected plan, overage fees will be applied automatically. You will receive automated alerts at 80%, 90%, and 100% of your allocated resources.

⚠️ Service Suspension Warning

Consistent overages without payment may result in throttling or temporary suspension. CloudNexus will notify you 48 hours before any action is taken to resolve outstanding balances.

5. Taxes & Regulatory Fees

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. CloudNexus collects and remits:

  • Value Added Tax (VAT) / Goods & Services Tax (GST) where legally required
  • Digital Services Taxes (DST) for applicable jurisdictions
  • Local sales taxes based on the customer's billing address

Tax exemptions apply for qualified government, educational, and nonprofit organizations upon submission of valid certification documents via the billing portal.

6. Late Payments & Service Suspension

Payments are considered late if not received within the invoiced terms. A late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law, if lower) may be applied to overdue balances.

Failure to resolve past-due invoices within 14 days may result in:

  1. Temporary throttling of non-essential resources
  2. Suspension of compute instances and databases
  3. Data retention for 30 days post-suspension before archival deletion

7. Refund & Credit Policy

CloudNexus offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method.

After the initial period, refunds are generally not issued for partially used months. However, CloudNexus may issue account credits for:

  • Verified service outages exceeding SLA thresholds
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Approved enterprise contract terminations
