1. Introduction
CloudNexus ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our cloud hosting and infrastructure services (the "Services").
2. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when creating an account, subscribing to services, contacting support, or completing surveys. This includes:
- Account details (name, email, company name)
- Billing information (credit card details, invoicing address)
- Communication content (support tickets, email correspondence)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our services, we automatically collect technical data including IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, access times, and usage statistics to ensure service reliability and security.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: Provide, maintain, and improve our Services; Process transactions and send related information; Respond to support requests; Send technical notices and updates; Monitor and analyze usage trends; Ensure security and prevent fraud.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, regular security audits, and strict access controls to protect your data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by tax regulations. Upon account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Your Rights

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CloudNexus services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Services.
2. Description of Services
CloudNexus provides cloud computing, hosting, storage, CDN, and related infrastructure services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One account per customer unless explicitly authorized for enterprise use.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
Prohibited activities include:
- Violating applicable laws or regulations
- Hosting malware, phishing sites, or engaging in cyberattacks
- Spamming or unsolicited bulk messaging
- Copyright infringement or hosting pirated content
- Cryptocurrency mining without explicit authorization
- Exceeding allocated resources in ways that degrade service for others
5. Payment & Billing
Fees are billed monthly in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 5-day grace period. Refunds are pro-rated for annual plans cancelled within the first 30 days.
6. Intellectual Property
CloudNexus retains all rights to our platform, software, and documentation. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to host and deliver it as necessary.
7. Limitation of Liability
CloudNexus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may terminate services immediately for Acceptable Use Policy violations. You may terminate at any time via the dashboard or by contacting support.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
CloudNexus guarantees the following service availability for all paid hosting and infrastructure products:
1. Uptime Guarantee
Standard Tier (VPS, Shared Hosting)
99.9% Monthly Uptime
We guarantee that our services will be available 99.9% of the time in any given calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance.
Professional Tier (Dedicated, Managed Cloud)
99.99% Monthly Uptime
Enhanced infrastructure with redundant power, network, and storage systems.
Enterprise Tier
99.999% Monthly Uptime
Maximum availability with geographic redundancy, dedicated support, and proactive monitoring.
2. Service Credits
If we fail to meet the uptime guarantee, you are eligible for service credits:
- 99.0% - 99.89%: 10% credit of monthly fee
- 95.0% - 98.99%: 25% credit of monthly fee
- Below 95.0%: 50% credit of monthly fee
3. Exclusions
Uptime guarantees exclude: Scheduled maintenance windows (with 48hr notice); Force majeure events; Issues caused by customer configuration or third-party services; DDoS attacks exceeding mitigation capacity; Beta or experimental features.
4. Claiming Credits
Credits must be claimed within 30 days of the service interruption via the support portal. Credits are applied to the next billing cycle and cannot be exchanged for cash.
