Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Accessibility
CloudNexus is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our cloud infrastructure platform, documentation, and customer portals are accessible to all users, regardless of ability.
We believe that inclusive technology drives innovation. By prioritizing accessibility, we ensure that developers, IT teams, and businesses of all backgrounds can leverage our cloud hosting and infrastructure services without barriers.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
CloudNexus.com and all associated customer-facing applications are substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where specific features do not yet meet Level AA requirements, we have documented known limitations and are actively working toward full conformance.
How We Ensure Accessibility
Development & Design Practices
- Semantic HTML5 markup with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
- ARIA attributes implemented where native semantics are insufficient
- Minimum contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text/UI components
- Keyboard-navigable interfaces with visible focus indicators
- Responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes and assistive technologies
Testing & Validation
- Automated accessibility auditing integrated into our CI/CD pipeline
- Regular manual testing using screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS)
- Keyboard-only navigation testing across all critical user flows
- Third-party accessibility assessments conducted annually
Accessibility Features
- Screen Reader Support: All interactive elements, data tables, and status messages are properly labeled and announced.
- Keyboard Navigation: Full functionality available via Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Escape, and Arrow keys.
- Text Resizing: Content scales cleanly up to 200% without loss of functionality or content.
- Reduced Motion: Respects `prefers-reduced-motion` system settings to minimize animations.
- Color Independence: Information is never conveyed by color alone; icons, patterns, and text labels are used.
- Form Accessibility: All inputs have associated labels, clear error identification, and descriptive placeholders.
Known Limitations & Remediation Plan
We continuously monitor our platform for accessibility gaps. Current areas of active improvement include:
- Legacy dashboard widgets (pre-2023) are being progressively enhanced to meet WCAG 2.2 standards.
- Third-party analytics scripts are being audited for focus management compatibility.
- Video documentation transcripts are being expanded to include synchronized captions.
Our engineering team maintains a public-facing accessibility roadmap, and all reported issues are prioritized based on impact and severity.
