Material FAQ

Everything you need to know about sourcing, testing, and handling our packaging materials.

Are your compostable cups home compostable or industrial only?
Our PLA and bagasse lines are certified industrially compostable (ASTM D6400/EN 13432). For home composting, we recommend our bamboo/wheat straw composite or our newer home-compost PLA blend, which breaks down at lower temperatures.
Do you provide certificates of analysis or material safety data?
Yes. Every batch includes a CoA, FDA compliance statement, and REACH documentation. Custom material certificates can be generated upon request for procurement teams.
Can I mix materials for a single product (e.g., paper cup with PLA lid)?
Absolutely. Hybrid configurations are standard in our catalog. Our engineering team ensures dimensional compatibility, seal integrity, and optimized thermal performance for mixed-material setups.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom material specs?
MOQ varies by material. Standard paper and PET start at 5,000 units. Custom coatings or bamboo composites typically require 10,000+ units. Contact our sales team for tiered pricing and run details.
