Welcome to the FlowCMS Community

The FlowCMS community is built by developers, designers, marketers, and content creators who share a passion for modern content management. We believe in open collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect.

These guidelines apply to all public spaces, including forums, GitHub repositories, Discord channels, social media groups, and official community events. By participating, you agree to uphold these standards.

Our Core Values

  • Respect: Treat every member with dignity, regardless of background, experience level, or perspective.
  • Inclusivity: Actively welcome diverse voices and create a space where everyone feels safe to contribute.
  • Constructive Feedback: Offer critique that helps others improve. Focus on the work, not the person.
  • Privacy: Never share personal information, proprietary code, or confidential data without explicit consent.
  • Accountability: Own your mistakes, learn from them, and take responsibility for your contributions.

Content Standards

Quality content drives our community forward. When posting tutorials, plugins, themes, or discussions, please ensure:

  • Code snippets are properly formatted and tested where possible
  • Third-party assets include clear attribution and licensing
  • Posts are tagged appropriately for discoverability
  • Claims are backed by documentation or reproducible examples
  • Spam, affiliate links, and self-promotion without value are prohibited

⚠️ Prohibited Content

Malware, exploit tools, scraped datasets, pirated software, or any content that violates copyright, privacy laws, or security best practices will be immediately removed and may result in account suspension.

Interaction & Conduct

Healthy conversations require clear boundaries. The following behaviors will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation in any form
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or slurs based on identity
  • Personal attacks, trolling, or intentional derailment
  • Impersonation of staff, developers, or verified members
  • Repeated off-topic posting or spamming

✅ How to Engage Positively

Ask questions clearly, search before posting duplicates, thank contributors, and assume good intent. When you disagree, do so respectfully with evidence and open-mindedness.

Moderation Policy

Our moderation team acts swiftly and transparently to maintain community health. Enforcement follows a graduated approach:

  • Warning: First-time minor infractions result in a private notice and post edit/removal if needed.
  • Temporary Restriction: Repeated or severe violations lead to a 7–30 day suspension from posting.
  • Permanent Ban: Threats, illegal activity, or egregious abuse result in immediate, irreversible removal.

All moderation actions are logged. You may appeal decisions by contacting our trust & safety team within 14 days of the action.
