HomeNest was founded in 2010 by a small team of real estate investors frustrated by the inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and outdated practices in traditional property management. We asked a simple question: What if managing rental properties could be as seamless, data-driven, and tenant-focused as modern hospitality?
That question sparked a movement. Starting with just 12 units in Austin, TX, we built a management model centered on proactive maintenance, digital-first communication, and rigorous tenant vetting. Within three years, our portfolio grew organically through referrals, and our 98% occupancy rate became industry talk.
