Member Code of Conduct

1. Introduction & Purpose

IronForge Fitness operates as a premium training facility dedicated to athletic performance, physical wellness, and personal development. To maintain the integrity of our environment and ensure the safety and comfort of every individual, all members, guests, contractors, and visitors must adhere to this Code of Conduct.

By signing a membership agreement or entering our facilities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these standards. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of membership in accordance with our enforcement procedures.

2. Core Community Values

Our culture is built on five foundational principles that guide our interactions and expectations:

• Respect: Treat all individuals with dignity, regardless of background, fitness level, or identity.
• Safety: Prioritize personal and collective well-being in every training space.
• Integrity: Uphold honesty, accountability, and fairness in all interactions.
• Inclusion: Foster an environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered to train.
• Excellence: Pursue continuous improvement while supporting others in their journeys.

3. Member Responsibilities

3.1 Hygiene & Attire

• Clean, closed-toe athletic footwear is mandatory in all training zones.
• Appropriate athletic attire must be worn at all times; street clothes are not permitted on the gym floor.
• Members must shower after use of facilities. Provided soap and hair care products must not be removed.
• Chlorophyll wipes or sanitizing towels must be used to clean equipment after each use.

3.2 Equipment & Re-racking

• All weights, plates, and accessories must be returned to their designated storage locations after use.
• Do not hoard equipment, occupy machines during peak hours, or sit on benches for extended periods.
• Report malfunctioning equipment immediately to staff using the reporting stations or front desk.

3.3 Punctuality & Scheduling

• Arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled group classes or personal training sessions.
• Cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.
• Respect time limits in specialized zones (e.g., boxing ring, turf field, recovery suite).

4. Facility Usage Guidelines

4.1 Training Zones

Each area of IronForge has specific usage parameters. Members must follow posted signage and staff instructions regarding weight limits, equipment operation, and capacity restrictions.

4.2 Locker Rooms & Showers

• Lockers are provided for temporary use during visits and are not secure long-term storage.
• Valuables left unattended are at the member's risk. IronForge is not liable for lost or stolen items.
• Keep personal belongings contained within designated spaces. Walkways must remain clear.

4.3 Recovery Suite & Amenities

Sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and massage therapy areas require cleanliness and moderation. Towels must be used, surfaces wiped down, and session limits respected to ensure availability for all members.

5. Behavioral Standards

IronForge maintains a professional, focused, and inclusive environment. The following behaviors are explicitly prohibited:

• Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
• Unsolicited photography, video recording, or audio capture without explicit consent from all parties and prior staff authorization.
• Excessive grunting, slamming weights, or disruptive behavior that interferes with others' training.
• Entering restricted staff-only areas, equipment rooms, or administrative offices.
• Bringing unauthorized pets, outside food/drink into training zones, or commercial promotional materials without management approval.
• Using mobile devices while operating heavy machinery or free weights.

6. Zero Tolerance Policy

Certain actions compromise safety, violate legal standards, or fundamentally breach our community trust. The following result in immediate suspension pending review and potential permanent termination:

• Physical violence, threats, or aggressive conduct toward any person.
• Theft, vandalism, or destruction of facility property or member belongings.
• Use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances or intoxicants on premises.
• Vaping, smoking, or open flames anywhere inside the facility or within 25 feet of entrances.
• Sexual harassment, inappropriate touching, or solicitation.
• Bringing weapons, glass containers, or unauthorized hazardous materials.

7. Reporting & Enforcement

7.1 How to Report

If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to:

• Front desk staff or floor managers during operating hours
• Security response line: (555) 123-4567 ext. 911 (available 24/7)
• Email: compliance@ironforge.fit (confidential reports handled within 48 hours)

7.2 Enforcement Process

IronForge conducts fair, documented reviews of all reported incidents. Consequences are proportionate to the severity and frequency of violations:

• First Offense (Minor): Verbal warning and acknowledgment form
• Repeat or Moderate Offense: Written warning, temporary suspension (7-30 days)
• Severe or Zero-Tolerance Offense: Immediate suspension, full membership termination, forfeiture of unused fees, and potential legal action

8. Acknowledgment

Membership at IronForge Fitness is a privilege that requires mutual commitment to safety, respect, and excellence. By maintaining an active membership, signing in as a guest, or utilizing our services, you affirm your understanding and agreement to this Code of Conduct.

This document may be updated periodically to reflect operational changes, legal requirements, or community feedback. Continued use of facilities constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
