Introduction

At JobSphere, we believe that transparency and fairness are the foundation of a healthy hiring ecosystem. This page outlines your rights as a user of our platform, whether you are a job seeker exploring opportunities or an employer posting positions.

Our commitment is to maintain a safe, inclusive, and legally compliant environment where every interaction respects your dignity, data, and professional boundaries. While this page summarizes your key rights, it does not replace applicable local, national, or international employment and consumer protection laws.

Job Seeker Rights

1. Non-Discrimination & Equal Opportunity

Every job seeker has the right to be treated fairly regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic. JobSphere prohibits discriminatory job postings and maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bias in our ecosystem.

2. Transparency in Compensation & Requirements

You have the right to clear, accurate information regarding salary ranges, benefits, work location, contract type, and required qualifications before applying. Employers who consistently omit or misrepresent compensation may be subject to listing suspension.

3. Safe Communication & Anti-Harassment

All interactions facilitated through JobSphere must remain professional. You have the right to block, report, or request removal from communication with any user or employer who engages in harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior.

4. Withdrawal & Application Control

You retain full control over your applications. You may withdraw your application at any time, request confirmation of receipt, or opt out of future communications from specific employers directly through your dashboard.

Know Your Local Laws: Employment rights vary by jurisdiction. JobSphere encourages all users to consult their local labor department or legal counsel for region-specific protections.

Employer Rights

1. Fair Representation & Listing Management

Employers have the right to manage, edit, pause, or close job listings at any time through their dashboard. You retain control over application settings, screening questions, and response templates.

2. Protection Against Fraud & Misrepresentation

JobSphere is committed to verifying employer identities and business legitimacy. You have the right to report suspicious candidates, fake profiles, or attempts to solicit payments/fraudulent information through our platform.

3. Data Access & Export

You may download, export, or transfer application data collected through JobSphere listings in standard formats (CSV, JSON) to integrate with your ATS or HR systems, subject to privacy compliance.

4. Service Transparency

Employers are entitled to clear pricing, transparent renewal terms, and prompt refunds for unused paid credits or subscriptions in accordance with our Terms of Service and applicable consumer protection regulations.

Data & Privacy Rights

Your personal information is processed lawfully, transparently, and with minimal retention. Depending on your location, you may be entitled to the following rights under GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent frameworks:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Update or correct inaccurate profile information.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.

Content Responsibility: While JobSphere respects IP rights, users are responsible for ensuring their uploaded content does not violate third-party copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.

Dispute Resolution & Support

1. Internal Resolution

We encourage users to resolve concerns through our Help Center first. Most disputes regarding listings, accounts, or billing are resolved within 3–5 business days.

2. Mediation & Arbitration

In the event of unresolved conflicts between users or with JobSphere, our Terms of Service outline a structured mediation process. Certain jurisdictions may require binding arbitration; these clauses are applied in strict compliance with local consumer laws.

3. Regulatory Complaints
