Community Guidelines

1. Our Purpose

LoveLink exists to help people find meaningful, respectful, and lasting relationships. These guidelines outline the standards we expect from every member. By using LoveLink, you agree to foster an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered to connect authentically.

2. Respect & Kindness

Every interaction on LoveLink should be grounded in dignity and empathy. We encourage open, honest communication while rejecting harassment, intimidation, or demeaning behavior.

• Use respectful language in all messages, profiles, and comments
• Accept rejection gracefully and without pressure
• Avoid unsolicited explicit content or sexually aggressive messaging
• Respect boundaries—both stated and implied

3. Authenticity & Consent

Genuine connections require honesty. All profiles must accurately represent who you are. Consent is non-negotiable in every interaction.

• Use current, clear photos of yourself (no heavily edited or misleading images)
• Be transparent about your intentions and relationship goals
• Never impersonate another person, celebrity, or use fake accounts
• Always obtain clear consent before sharing photos, personal details, or escalating conversations

4. Prohibited Behavior

To maintain a safe community, the following actions are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account suspension or permanent banning:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
• Sharing non-consensual intimate imagery or engaging in cyberbullying
• Soliciting money, gifts, or financial information under false pretenses
• Scalping, bots, automated messaging, or spam promotions
• Any illegal activities or promotion of illegal substances/services
• Underage accounts (LoveLink is strictly 18+/21+ depending on jurisdiction)

5. Privacy & Safety

Your safety is our priority. We employ advanced verification and encryption, but personal responsibility remains essential.

• Never share sensitive personal information (home address, financial details, ID numbers) early in conversations
• Meet first dates in public places and inform a trusted friend of your plans
• Use LoveLink’s in-app messaging until you feel comfortable sharing contact details
• Respect others’ privacy—do not screenshot, redistribute, or misuse private conversations or photos

6. Reporting & Support

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. Our Trust & Safety team reviews every submission.

• Use the "Report" button on profiles, messages, or media
• Provide context, timestamps, and screenshots if available
• Contact our support team directly at safety@lovelink.com
• For emergencies, contact local law enforcement immediately

7. Moderation & Enforcement

LoveLink uses a combination of AI detection, human review, and user reports to enforce these guidelines. Consequences are proportional to the severity and frequency of violations:

1. Warning: First-time minor infractions may receive a temporary restriction or educational prompt
2. Temporary Ban: Repeated or moderate violations result in 7–30 day account suspension
3. Permanent Ban: Severe, dangerous, or repeated policy breaches lead to permanent removal

You may appeal moderation decisions through our Support Center. All appeals are reviewed within 48–72 hours.

8. Updates & Contact

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect community feedback, legal requirements, and platform improvements. We’ll notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.
