Start by registering a seller account. If you already have a buyer account, you can upgrade to seller mode directly from your dashboard.
Account Registration
- Click Sign Up and select "Sell on MarketFlow"
- Enter your business or personal email address
- Create a strong password and confirm your identity via email OTP
Verification Note: Business accounts require tax ID and bank statement verification. Individual accounts only require government ID.

Configure Your Storefront
Your storefront is your brand's home on MarketFlow. Customize it to build trust and attract buyers.
Essential Store Settings
- Store Name: Max 30 characters. Should match your brand or business name.
- Logo & Banner: Recommended 400x400px (logo) and 1500x400px (banner). JPG/PNG only.
- Store Description: 200-500 words describing what you sell, your shipping policy, and return window.
- Social Links: Add Instagram, TikTok, or website to drive cross-platform traffic.
Policy Reminder: Store names cannot contain generic terms like "Official Store" or "Marketplace" unless trademarked. See Brand Guidelines.

Set Up Payment & Payout Settings
Configure how you receive earnings. MarketFlow holds funds in escrow until buyers confirm delivery, then releases them to your linked account.
Supported Payout Methods
- Bank Transfer (ACH/Wire): 3-5 business days. Standard fee: 0.5% per payout.
- MarketFlow Pay: Instant access to a prepaid virtual card. Fee: 1.2%.
- Crypto (USDC): Available in select regions. Fee: 0.8%.

High-quality listings convert better. Follow these best practices for your first product upload.
Listing Requirements
- Title: Include key features, brand, model, and condition (e.g., "Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Headphones - Mint Condition")
- Photos: Minimum 3 images. First image must be white background. Max 10 images.
- Price: Competitive pricing auto-suggested based on category averages.
- Category & Tags: Select primary category + up to 5 tags for search optimization.
- Condition & Description: Be transparent about wear, defects, or included accessories.
Photo Tip: Natural lighting and straight angles increase click-through rates by up to 40%. Avoid filters or heavy editing.

Shipping & Fulfillment Options
Choose how your orders are packed and delivered. MarketFlow offers integrated label printing and carrier discounts.
Fulfillment Models
- Self-Fulfill: Pack and ship yourself using MarketFlow's discounted carrier rates (UPS, DHL, FedEx).
- MarketFlow Fulfillment: Send inventory to our warehouses. We handle picking, packing, and last-mile delivery.
- Local Pickup: Enable for buyers within 50 miles. No shipping fee.
Shipping Guarantee: All items must ship within 48 hours of payment. Late shipments incur a $2.50 penalty and impact seller rating.

Go Live & Manage Orders
Once configured, your store goes live automatically. Use the Seller Dashboard to track performance.

- Orders Tab: View, accept, cancel, or fulfill incoming orders.
- Messaging: Chat with buyers securely. Automated responses can be set up for FAQs.
- Analytics: Track impressions, conversion rate, return rate, and revenue trends.
- Disputes: Handle buyer returns or condition disputes with guided resolution tools.
Account Health: Maintain a 95%+ positive rating and under 2% defect rate to qualify for "Top Seller" badge and lower fees.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does seller verification take?
Individual accounts are typically verified within 2-4 hours. Business accounts require document review and may take 1-3 business days.
Are there monthly fees for sellers?
No monthly subscription fees. MarketFlow charges a 5% success fee per completed sale, plus a $0.30 processing fee. Premium sellers can apply for reduced rates at $50k+ monthly volume.
Can I change my payout method later?
Yes, you can update payout settings anytime in Dashboard â Settings â Payments. Changes take effect within 24 hours. Active payouts remain unaffected.
What happens if a buyer requests a return?
Buyers have 14 days to request returns for unused items in original condition. You'll receive a notification, generate a return label (buyer pays unless defective), and get refunded once we inspect the item.
Is there a mobile app for managing my store?
Yes! Download the MarketFlow Seller app (iOS/Android) to accept orders, print labels, chat with buyers, and view real-time analytics on the go.
