Creator Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to RaiseIt ("Platform," "we," "our," or "us"). These Creator Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Creator," "you," or "your") and RaiseIt, Inc., governing your use of our crowdfunding services.

RaiseIt provides a platform that allows Creators to raise funds for creative projects, social enterprises, charitable causes, and innovative products. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any project or reward described on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

By creating a campaign, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction).
• You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this agreement.
• You are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdictions.
• You are providing accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and campaign creation process.

3. Campaign Creation

3.1 Accuracy of Information

You must provide clear, truthful, and non-misleading information about your project. This includes realistic funding goals, detailed descriptions of the project's purpose, and transparent timelines.

3.2 Ownership

You must own or have the necessary rights to all materials used in your campaign (images, videos, text, etc.). You grant RaiseIt a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display these materials on the Platform.

3.3 Funding Models

RaiseIt supports two primary funding models:

• Flexible Funding (Keep-It-All): You keep the money raised, even if you don't reach your goal. You are responsible for delivering rewards to the extent possible.
• Fixed Funding (All-Or-Nothing): You only receive funds if you meet or exceed your goal by the deadline. If the goal is not met, backers are not charged.

4. Fees & Payouts

RaiseIt is free to use for backers; however, we charge the following fees to Creators upon successful funding:

• Platform Fee: 5% of the total funds raised.
• Payment Processing Fee: 3% + $0.30 per transaction (charged by our payment processors).

These fees are deducted from the total funds before the payout is transferred to your bank account. Payouts are typically processed within 7-14 business days after the campaign ends.

5. Rewards & Deliverables

You are solely responsible for fulfilling rewards and deliverables promised to backers. This includes:

• Meeting delivery timelines.
• Providing updates to backers regarding progress, delays, or changes.
• Refunding backers if you cannot deliver on your promises.

RaiseIt encourages Creators to communicate proactively. Failure to deliver rewards may result in account suspension, withholding of funds, or legal action by backers.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership of the intellectual property rights in your project materials and rewards. By posting content on RaiseIt, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Launch campaigns for illegal, harmful, or unethical activities.
• Misrepresent the nature of the project or your ability to deliver.
• Use the Platform to sell stocks, bonds, or other securities.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse backers or other users.
• Circumvent RaiseIt's payment system or fees.

8. Termination

RaiseIt reserves the right to suspend or terminate your campaign or account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or safety concerns. Upon termination, you will be refunded funds to unfulfilled backers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaiseIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Platform. We act solely as an intermediary and do not guarantee the success or delivery of any project.
