Refunds are not processed on weekends or public holidays. Expedited refunds may be arranged for emergencies upon request.

⚠️ Unforeseen Circumstances & Force Majeure

In the rare event of extreme weather, natural disasters, political instability, or travel restrictions that make a trip unsafe or impossible to operate, SummitX reserves the right to modify or cancel the expedition.

  • If we cancel the trip, you will receive a 100% refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future date.
  • If you cancel due to personal illness, injury, or emergency, standard cancellation tiers apply unless you hold valid travel insurance.
  • Flights, visas, and third-party bookings not issued by SummitX are the traveler's responsibility.

🔍 Note: Force majeure events must be verified by official authorities. SummitX will act in good faith to minimize financial impact and offer flexible rebooking options whenever possible.

Outdoor adventures are inherently subject to variable conditions. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Emergency medical evacuation & treatment
  • Trip cancellation & interruption
  • Adventure sports & high-altitude activities
  • Lost, delayed, or stolen luggage
  • Pre-existing medical conditions

🔄 Trip Credits & Rescheduling

If you're unable to travel but wish to keep your adventure alive, you may opt for a SummitX Trip Credit instead of a cash refund.

    Credits retain 100% of your paid amount + a 10% bonus
  • Valid for 24 months from the original departure date
  • Applicable to any SummitX expedition, including premium upgrades
  • Non-transferable and cannot be combined with promotional discounts

To convert a cancellation to a trip credit, please indicate your preference when submitting your request.
