Refund percentages are calculated from your total booking amount, excluding non-refundable third-party fees (flights, visas, mandatory insurance). Credits can be applied to future trips within 12 months.
Full Refund
Cancel anytime 60 or more days out for a full refund or full trip credit.
Partial Refund
75% refund to original payment method, or 100% as trip credit + 10% bonus.
Limited Refund
50% refund or full trip credit. Non-refundable guide & permit fees apply.
Non-Refundable
Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. Travel insurance may cover costs.

When the Unexpected Happens
We prioritize safety above all else. If a trip is cancelled by SummitX due to severe weather, political instability, natural disasters, or safety concerns, you will receive a 100% refund or full trip credit. For personal emergencies (medical, family, employment), we strongly recommend our partner travel insurance plan, which covers 90% of non-refundable costs. Medical documentation must be submitted within 7 days of cancellation.

Log Into Your Account
Navigate to My Bookings and select the trip you wish to cancel.
Click "Request Cancellation"
Select your reason and review the applicable refund tier based on your departure date.
Submit & Await Confirmation
Our team will review your request and email confirmation within 24β48 hours. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10β14 business days.

Yes. Name changes are allowed up to 21 days before departure for a $50 admin fee per person. After that, cancellations and new bookings apply.
