At Terroir Cocoa, we believe in transparency and clear communication. When we make updates to our Terms of Service, we will notify you through one or more of the following methods:

• Website Banner: A prominent notice on our homepage and checkout flow for a minimum of 30 days prior to the effective date of material changes.
• Updated Effective Date: The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
• Order Confirmation Inclusion: For material changes, a summary of key updates will be included in your next order confirmation email.

2 What Constitutes a Material Change

We distinguish between minor updates and material changes to ensure you understand the impact of any revisions:

• Minor Changes: Corrections of typographical errors, formatting adjustments, clarification of language without altering meaning, or updates to comply with technical standards. These take effect immediately upon posting.
• Material Changes: Modifications that significantly alter your rights, obligations, or the scope of our services. This includes changes to pricing structures, data privacy practices, warranty terms, dispute resolution procedures, or core service offerings.

For any material change, we will provide a minimum of 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect.

3 Your Rights & Options

If you disagree with changes to our Terms of Service, you have the following options:

• Discontinue Use: You may cease using our website, terminate active subscriptions, or refrain from placing further orders at any time.
• Account Closure: You may request immediate closure of your customer account by contacting our support team. All personal data will be processed according to our Privacy Policy.
• Outstanding Orders: Orders placed prior to the effective date of changes will be fulfilled under the terms that were in effect at the time of purchase.
• Refunds: If a material change materially alters a product or service you have prepaid for, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund. Contact us for details.

4 Effective Date of Changes

All changes to these Terms will clearly state their effective date. Changes will only apply to purchases, account activities, and service usage occurring on or after that date. Previous transactions remain governed by the terms in effect at the time they occurred.
