ChessMaster uses a modified Glicko-2 rating system. Your rating changes based on the outcome of your games, your opponent's rating, and the expected score. Winning against higher-rated players gives more points, while losing to lower-rated players deducts more. New players have a provisional rating that stabilizes after 30 rated games.

Navigate to the Tournaments page and browse upcoming events. Click "Register" on any tournament that matches your time control and rating bracket. Most tournaments are free, while premium events may require a small entry fee. You'll receive an email confirmation and a reminder 1 hour before start time.

You can report bugs through our Support Portal or use the in-app feedback button. Please include your browser/device details, a description of the issue, and screenshots if possible. Our engineering team reviews all reports daily and prioritizes critical gameplay issues. You'll receive a status update via email.
