Exceptions & Restrictions

This document outlines the boundaries, usage limitations, compliance requirements, and special provisions governing Cup Source products and services. Please review carefully before placing orders or customizing packaging.

Important: Cup Source reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any product line or service offering without prior notice. All restrictions listed herein are subject to applicable federal, state, and international regulations.

📦 Product & Material Restrictions

Our drinkware and packaging are engineered for commercial food and beverage service. The following restrictions apply:

  • Temperature limits: Paper cups are rated for liquids up to 212°F (100°C). Exceeding this may cause structural failure or adhesive breakdown.
  • Not suitable for industrial chemicals, solvents, or non-food substances.
  • Biodegradable/compostable lines require commercial composting facilities to break down properly.
  • Microwave and dishwasher safety applies only to products explicitly labeled as such.

🎨 Customization & Branding Exceptions

Custom printing and private-label manufacturing are subject to the following guidelines:

  • Minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply per SKU, ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 units depending on material and print complexity.
  • Artwork must be submitted in vector format (AI, EPS, PDF) with 300 DPI resolution. Raster files may incur additional setup fees.
  • Color matching is approximate due to material absorbency and printing methods. A 10% variance is standard industry tolerance.
  • Cup Source reserves the right to reject artwork containing offensive, defamatory, or trademark-infringing content.

🚚 Shipping & Fulfillment Limitations

Due to bulk volume and material sensitivity, fulfillment is governed by these restrictions:

  • International shipments are subject to customs duties, import taxes, and local compliance certifications (e.g., EU FDA, UKCA).
  • Remote or PO Box deliveries may incur surcharges or require freight forwarding arrangements.
  • Temperature-controlled storage is recommended during transit in extreme climates. Damage resulting from improper handling post-delivery is not covered.
  • Rush orders under 48 hours are only available for in-stock, non-custom SKUs and require carrier approval.

⚖️ Liability & Warranty Exclusions

Cup Source guarantees product quality upon shipment. The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

  1. Misuse, overfilling, or exceeding temperature/pressure specifications.
  2. Storage in damp, direct-sunlight, or pest-prone environments prior to use.
  3. Third-party modifications (e.g., aftermarket sleeves, non-approved lids).
  4. Force majeure events including natural disasters, carrier strikes, or regulatory embargoes.
