Overview of Your Rights
At FlowCMS, we are committed to respecting your privacy and providing transparency about how we process your personal data. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain legal rights regarding your personal information. This page outlines those rights and explains how you can exercise them.
Note: Some rights may be subject to applicable legal exceptions or limitations. We will inform you if any request cannot be fully honored and explain the reasons why.
Right to Access
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether FlowCMS processes your personal data, and if so, to obtain a copy of that data along with specific information about how it is being used. This includes details about the purposes of processing, categories of data involved, retention periods, and recipients of your information.
Right to Rectification
If you believe any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you have the right to request correction or completion. We will verify the information and update our records promptly upon confirmation.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
Under certain circumstances, you may request the deletion of your personal data. This right applies when the data is no longer necessary for the original purpose, you withdraw consent, or the processing is unlawful. Please note that we may retain specific information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent fraud.
Right to Restrict Processing
You may request that we limit how we use your personal data. This typically applies when you contest the accuracy of the data, object to processing, or when we no longer need the data but you require it for legal claims. While restricted, we will only process the data with your consent or for specific legal purposes.
Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on consent or a contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may also request that we transfer this data directly to another controller where technically feasible.
Right to Object
You have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to such marketing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will honor your objection unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
FlowCMS does not engage in solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. Where we use automated processing or profiling for service optimization, it is always combined with human oversight and does not replace meaningful human review.
Rights for California Residents
If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide additional rights, including:
- Knowing what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
- Deleting personal information collected from you
- Opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Correcting inaccurate personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf. We will require proper verification and authorization before processing such requests.
