How does LoveLink verify profiles?

We use a multi-layer verification process including photo analysis, government ID checks (optional but encouraged), and phone/email verification. Verified badges are awarded only after successful completion. Our AI also continuously scans for inconsistencies.

What happens if I report someone?

Your report is instantly sent to our Trust & Safety team. We preserve evidence, review chat history, and evaluate behavior patterns. Depending on severity, accounts may be warned, temporarily suspended, or permanently banned. You'll receive a status update via email/app notification.

Can I block someone from seeing my profile?

Yes. Blocking removes all chat history, prevents future matches, and hides your profile from them. Blocked users cannot contact you through any LoveLink feature. You can manage blocks in Settings → Privacy → Block List.

How is my data protected?

LoveLink uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We never sell personal data. You can download, export, or permanently delete your account at any time via Privacy Controls. Location data is only shared when you actively enable "Nearby Matches."

What should I do in an emergency?

If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away. Within the app, tap the red "SOS" button in chat settings to share your live location with 2 pre-selected emergency contacts. We do not store emergency contact data on our servers.
