Precision CNC Machining

Subtractive manufacturing with tolerances to ±0.001mm. From rapid prototypes to high-volume production, our multi-axis CNC fleet delivers consistent, certified quality.

Engineered for Precision. Built for Performance.

MetalCore operates a modern fleet of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling and turning centers. Our engineers use advanced CAM software to optimize toolpaths, reduce cycle times, and maintain tight tolerances across complex geometries.

Whether you need a single flight-critical component or 100,000 automotive brackets, our process is built for repeatability, traceability, and on-time delivery.

File Preparation & Guidelines

Follow these standards to ensure accurate quoting, faster turnaround, and optimal DFM results.

📐

Accepted Formats

We prefer native CAD or neutral 3D formats for accurate modeling and nesting.

  • .STEP / .STP (Recommended)
  • .IGES / .IGS
  • .SLDPRT / .IPT
  • .STL (Min 50μm resolution)
📏

Tolerancing

Specify tight tolerances only where critical. Standard machining tolerance is ±0.1mm.

  • Use GD&T for critical features
  • Define datum references clearly
  • Surface finish notes (Ra μm)
  • Avoid overly tight non-critical dims
🧱

Design for Manufacturing

Optimize your geometry for tool access, material grain, and efficient cycle times.

  • Min 3mm wall thickness
  • Internal radii ≥ tool diameter
  • Avoid deep narrow pockets
  • Add breaking corners if possible

CNC Machining Questions

Standard prototypes ship in 3–5 business days. Production runs typically take 10–15 days depending on volume, material availability, and post-processing requirements. Rush services are available with 24–48hr turnaround for qualified orders.
We machine aluminum (6061, 7075), stainless steel (304, 316L), brass, bronze, titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), Inconel, PEEK, Delrin, PTFE, and engineering plastics. All materials come with full traceability and mill certificates upon request.
Yes. Every production lot includes a First Article Inspection (FAI) report, dimensional printouts from CMM measurement, and material certifications. We can also provide PPAP documentation for automotive and aerospace clients.
Our 5-axis mills and Swiss-style turning centers handle complex geometries, tight internal radii, deep holes, and compound angles efficiently. For features requiring EDM or wire cutting, we coordinate with our sister facility to deliver complete parts.
We offer anodizing (Type II & III), powder coating, passivation, bead blasting, tumbling, heat treatment, hardening, plating, and precision finishing. All surface treatments are performed by certified partners or in-house depending on specification.
