We only share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Explicit Consent: You may authorize us to share records with other healthcare providers, insurers, or designated contacts. You can revoke consent at any time.
  • For Treatment Coordination: If you use multiple SereneMind services (e.g., therapy + meditation tracking), licensed professionals may share relevant clinical notes to ensure cohesive care.
  • Legal & Safety Exceptions: As detailed in the "Mandatory Disclosures" section below.
  • Service Providers: We may share limited, anonymized data with trusted third-party vendors who host our platform, process payments, or power secure analytics. These partners are bound by strict data processing agreements.

  • Imminent Risk of Harm: If we believe you are at serious risk of harming yourself or others, we may contact emergency services or a designated emergency contact.
  • Abuse or Neglect: We are mandated reporters and must disclose suspected abuse involving minors, elders, or vulnerable adults.
  • Court Orders & Legal Process: We will only disclose information in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or legal request, and we will notify you in advance whenever legally permitted.

Your Rights & Controls

You maintain full control over your information. You can:

  • Access, download, or request deletion of your personal data at any time via your account settings.
  • Update or revoke third-party sharing consenses instantly.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications, marketing, or anonymized research participation.
  • Submit a formal privacy request or data portability request through our support portal.

All requests are processed within 30 days. We never penalize or restrict service access for exercising your privacy rights.
