Where It Began
From a Small Group of Hikers to a Global Movement
SummitX started in 2013 when three friends grew frustrated with how commercialized outdoor experiences were becoming. They wanted something more authentic, more respectful, and more transformative.
What began as weekend trail cleanups and guided nature walks quickly evolved into a purpose-driven adventure company. We realized that people didn't just want to visit nature—they wanted to understand it, protect it, and return to it as stewards, not spectators.
Today, SummitX operates across 52 countries, partners with over 120 local conservation NGOs, and has trained hundreds of guides who share our commitment to responsible exploration. But our mission remains exactly the same: connect people with the wild, and ensure the wild remains wild for generations to come.
