How far in advance should I book a trip?βΎ
We recommend booking at least 6β8 weeks in advance for standard trips, and 3β4 months for peak-season or guided expeditions. Early bookings often include priority scheduling and group discounts.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?βΎ
Cancellations made 60+ days before departure receive a full refund. 30β59 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: non-refundable, but we offer trip credit for future use. Weather-related cancellations are fully refunded.
Do you provide gear or do I need to bring my own?βΎ
Essential safety gear (ropes, harnesses, first aid, navigation) is provided. Personal items (boots, layers, sleeping bags) should be brought or rented through our partner network. Detailed checklists are emailed 4 weeks before departure.
What are your safety protocols during expeditions?βΎ
All guides are Wilderness First Responder certified. We maintain a 1:6 guide-to-client ratio, carry satellite communicators, conduct daily weather/terrain assessments, and have established evacuation routes for every route.
Can I modify my trip date after booking?βΎ
Yes, date changes are free up to 45 days before departure. Changes within 45 days incur a $75 administrative fee, subject to availability on the new date.
