Grindelwald Base → Eiger North Face Views
Arrive in Grindelwald this morning. We'll meet at the summit station, unpack gear, and enjoy a guided orientation hike to prepare your body for the days ahead. The afternoon features a scenic walk through alpine meadows with stunning views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
Grindelwald → First → Schynige Platte
An early start to catch the cable car to First. We'll tackle the challenging but rewarding ridge walk across alpine terrain. Expect rugged paths, breathtaking drop-offs, and panoramic valley views. Descend via Schynige Platte for a relaxing evening.
Schynige Platte → Riederhorn → Alpine Refuge
Transition into true high-alpine terrain. We'll traverse glacial moraine and establish our first overnight base camp. Evening includes ice axe handling basics and crevasse rescue fundamentals. Dinner is prepared by our expedition chef.
Base Camp 1 → Riederhorn Summit → Alpine Lodge
The highlight of the expedition. We'll push for the Riederhorn summit before noon to maximize visibility and safe descent conditions. The traverse down offers some of the most iconic alpine photography spots in the Bernese Oberland.
Interlaken Region → Botanical Trails
A lighter day focused on active recovery. We'll explore the sub-alpine meadows near Interlaken, identifying native flora and fauna. The afternoon is free for optional paragliding, lakeside kayaking, or spa relaxation.
Interlaken → Lauterbrunnen → Mürren
Travel to the famous Lauterbrunnen Valley, dubbed "Valley of a Hundred Waterfalls." We'll take the gear train up to car-free Mürren for a final panoramic hike, soaking in the dramatic cliff faces and hanging glaciers.
Mürren → Airport / Extended Stay
After a hearty breakfast, we'll pack up and begin the descent. Private transfers to Zurich or Bern airports are arranged based on your flight schedule. For those wishing to extend their stay, our concierge team will help arrange independent itineraries.
