• Automated abuse — Using bots or scripts to overload servers, manipulate edit histories, or generate spam content.
• Selling raw dumps — Distributing unmodified database exports or content dumps as a standalone product.

05 Contributor Rights

Aevum Encyclopedia is built by a global community of over 180,000 contributors. By contributing to the platform, contributors agree to the following terms:

Content License Grant

All contributions submitted to Aevum Encyclopedia — including text, images, diagrams, and media — are automatically licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Contributors retain moral rights to attribution but grant Aevum Encyclopedia an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute their contributions.

Editorial Independence

Aevum Encyclopedia respects contributor autonomy. While content is subject to editorial review for accuracy and quality, contributors are not bound by employment contracts or non-disclosure agreements. Contributors may withdraw their accounts at any time, though previously published contributions remain under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Revenue Participation

Top-rated contributors may be eligible for our revenue-sharing program, which distributes a portion of platform advertising and sponsorship income based on content engagement metrics. Details are available in our Contributor Agreement.

The following trademarks are owned by Aevum Encyclopedia, Inc. and registered in multiple jurisdictions:
