Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior combat experience to join?

Absolutely not. Our Beginner and All-Level classes are designed for first-timers. We start with stance, footwork, and basic punches before progressing to combinations and sparring. All skill levels are welcome.

What equipment do I need to bring?

For your first session, just bring workout clothes and water. We provide loaner gloves, wraps, and mouthguards. Once you're ready to commit, we recommend 12oz-16oz boxing gloves and hand wraps.

Is sparring mandatory?

No. Sparring is always optional and strictly controlled. You can train effectively without ever stepping into a sparring session. When you do choose to spar, it's always supervised with proper protective gear.

How many classes per week do you recommend?

For fitness and skill development, 2-3 sessions per week is ideal. If you're preparing for competition or rapid progress, 4-5 sessions with active recovery days yields the best results.

Can I switch between Boxing and MMA classes?

Yes. Our Combat Sports membership gives you full access to all boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and BJJ sessions. Many members cross-train to build a well-rounded skill set.
