Prohibited Conduct
To maintain a safe, fair, and professional environment for all job seekers, employers, and recruiting partners, JobSphere strictly prohibits certain behaviors and activities on or through its platform. Violation of this policy may result in account suspension, termination, removal of content, and/or legal action.
1. Fraud & Misrepresentation
All users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Falsifying company names, positions, salaries, or job descriptions.
- Impersonating another individual, company, or government entity.
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate application volumes, reviews, or employer branding metrics.
- Posting fake or duplicate job listings to collect resumes or personal data.
2. Discrimination & Harassment
JobSphere is committed to equal opportunity employment standards. Users may not:
- Post job requirements that exclude applicants based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
- Use derogatory language, make threatening statements, or engage in hate speech in communications, reviews, or profile content.
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, or exploit other users through platform messaging or exported data.
3. Data Privacy & Security Violations
Critical Notice
Unauthorized collection, sharing, or misuse of candidate or employer data violates the Terms of Service and applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting user data, resumes, contact information, or employer details using automated tools without written permission.
- Selling, renting, or publicly sharing proprietary JobSphere data without authorization.
- Using weak or compromised credentials, or sharing account access with unauthorized third parties.
- Bypassing platform security measures, authentication protocols, or rate limits.
4. Spam & Unwanted Communications
To preserve platform integrity, the following is prohibited:
- Sending bulk, unsolicited messages to job seekers or employers.
- Using automated bots to apply to jobs, send invitations, or generate reviews.
- Embedding malicious links, phishing attempts, or malware in profiles, messages, or uploaded documents.
- Attempting to circumvent JobSphere's messaging restrictions or paywalls.
5. Payment Fraud & Financial Manipulation
Employers and recruiting partners must adhere to transparent billing practices:
- Using stolen credit cards, fraudulent payment methods, or chargeback abuse.
- Creating shell companies to access promotional pricing or free trials repeatedly.
- Requesting payments, fees, or "processing charges" from job applicants (a clear indicator of employment scams).
6. Intellectual Property Infringement
Users must respect the intellectual property rights of JobSphere and other users:
- Uploading copyrighted resumes, portfolios, or company materials without permission.
- Reproducing JobSphere's platform interface, logos, or proprietary algorithms without license.
- Claiming ownership of content created by other users or third-party partners.
7. Enforcement & Reporting Violations
JobSphere reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy. Enforcement actions may include:
- Immediate suspension or permanent termination of accounts.
- Removal of job postings, profiles, reviews, or uploaded documents.
- Withholding of refunds for accounts terminated due to severe violations.
- Cooperation with law enforcement and reporting of criminal activity.
If you witness prohibited conduct, please report it immediately via our Trust & Safety team. Substantiated reports will be investigated promptly and confidentially.

JobSphere may update this Prohibited Conduct policy to reflect changes in law, platform functionality, or industry standards. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform. By continuing to use JobSphere's services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the current version of this policy.
