📐 General Inquiries

We accept native CAD files including STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, and X_T formats. For 2D drawings, we accept PDF, DWG, and DXF. PDF drawings with full GD&T callouts are highly recommended for accurate quoting.

Absolutely. We offer free DFM reviews for all projects. Our engineers analyze your designs for manufacturability, suggest tolerances, recommend material alternatives, and optimize features to reduce cost and lead time without compromising performance.

Yes. Every shipment includes a Certificate of Conformance (CoC). Mill certificates, heat treatment reports, and NDT documentation are available upon request and included as standard for aerospace, medical, and energy sector orders.

🏭 Manufacturing Capabilities

We machine and fabricate over 200+ materials including:

  • Aluminum (6061, 7075, 2024), Steel (1018, 304, 316L, 4140, 17-4PH)
  • Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), Inconel, Hastelloy
  • Engineering Plastics (Delrin, PEEK, UHMW, Nylon, POM)
  • Copper, Brass, Bronze, and specialized alloys

Standard CNC tolerances are ±0.005" (±0.127mm) without additional cost. Tighter tolerances down to ±0.0005" (±0.0127mm) are achievable with specialized processes and will be noted in your quote. We always recommend specifying only critical tolerances to optimize production cost.

Our largest CNC mills accommodate parts up to 40" x 40" x 30". Our sheet metal department handles up to 10ft x 4ft panels. For oversized components, we coordinate with strategic partner facilities while maintaining full quality control.

📦 Order & Production

Lead times depend on part complexity, material availability, finish requirements, and quantity. Standard prototyping takes 3-7 business days. Production runs typically range from 2-6 weeks. Rush orders are available for an additional fee, and we provide real-time progress tracking.

Yes. We offer tiered pricing based on volume commitments. For high-volume injection molding or die casting projects, we can discuss tooling amortization programs and long-term pricing agreements to reduce your per-part cost over time.

We maintain a structured ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process. Changes are evaluated for impact on cost and schedule. Minor tweaks are often accommodated at no extra cost. Major modifications require a revised quote and schedule, but our agile workflow minimizes downtime.

🛡️ Quality & Certifications

MetalCore is ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified. We also maintain ITAR registration and IATF 16949 readiness for automotive clients. All processes are documented and audited regularly to ensure consistent compliance.

We implement First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process statistical process control (SPC), and final batch verification. Our lab features CMMs, optical comparators, surface roughness testers, and material spectrometers. 100% inspection is available for critical components.

Our industry-leading defect rate is consistently below 0.3%. All parts are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If any component fails to meet specified tolerances or material properties, we replace or rework it at no cost.

🚚 Shipping & Logistics

We use anti-corrosion VCI packaging, foam inserts, and ruggedized crates for domestic shipping. International orders comply with Incoterms 2020 and include proper export documentation. We partner with FedEx, UPS, and DHL for expedited delivery.

Yes. We provide Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, direct-to-plant drop shipping, and kitting/assembly services. Our ERP system integrates with major procurement platforms for seamless order tracking and automated replenishment.
