From a Small Machine Shop to a Global Manufacturing Leader

Founded in 1998 by Robert Chen in a 10,000 sq ft facility in Detroit, MetalCore began as a precision machine shop serving local automotive suppliers.

What started with three CNC machines and a team of 12 has grown into a 200,000 sq ft manufacturing complex employing over 1,200 skilled professionals across multiple facilities. Today, we serve clients in over 40 countries across aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Our growth has never come at the expense of our founding principles: precision in every cut, integrity in every relationship, and innovation in every process. These values remain the cornerstone of everything we do.

In 2019, we achieved ISO 9001:2015 recertification and AS9100D for aerospace quality management, reinforcing our commitment to the highest industry standards.
