MetalCore Manufacturing enforces strict packaging standards to protect precision-engineered components during storage, transit, and handling. All shipments must comply with these specifications unless a custom packaging agreement is in place.

🧱 Approved Packaging Materials
All materials must be new, clean, and free of contaminants. Secondary/recycled materials are permitted only when meeting the minimum strength ratings below.

📐 Palletization & Dimensional Guidelines
Proper palletization prevents freight damage and ensures compatibility with automated warehouse systems. All loads must be unitized and wrapped.

🏷️ Labeling & Compliance Requirements
Accurate labeling ensures traceability, customs clearance, and proper handling. All external surfaces must display mandatory markings.
Mandatory Markings
- • Ship-to / Bill-to address with contact name & phone
- • PO#, SKU/Part Number, Quantity, Net/Gross Weight
- • Barcode (Code 128 or GS1-128) scannable at 99% accuracy
- • "FRAGILE", "KEEP DRY", or "HEAVY" handling stickers as applicable
- • Country of Origin & Material Composition (for customs)
Documentation Enclosure
Each shipment must include a waterproof document pouch containing:
- • Packing Slip (3 copies)
- • Certificate of Conformance (CoC) / Material Certs (if requested)
- • MSDS / SDS sheets for chemical-treated components
- • Quality Inspection Report (for aerospace/medical orders)
