To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SereneMind, its founders, directors, employees, affiliates, contributing therapists, coaches, and content creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
- Any claims arising from the use or inability to use the Platform or our services;
- Any reliance on information provided through the Platform;
- Any emotional, psychological, or physical changes resulting from mindfulness, meditation, or wellness practices performed based on our content;
- Any damages caused by viruses, malware, or unauthorized access to your device or data.
Our liability shall in no event exceed the amount paid by you to SereneMind, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.

You are solely responsible for your well-being, health decisions, and the manner in which you use the SereneMind Platform. Mindfulness and meditation practices may temporarily intensify emotions or bring up past experiences. SereneMind assumes no responsibility for your use or misuse of our content, tools, or recommendations.

Any licensed professionals who provide services through SereneMind do so in their individual professional capacity. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate service agreement, engaging with a therapist or coach through our Platform does not automatically establish a formal therapist-client relationship governed by clinical confidentiality laws. All clinical engagements are subject to the specific provider's scope of practice, jurisdictional regulations, and signed intake agreements.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to this Disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in California. Nothing in this section shall prevent SereneMind from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
