Precision at Every Stage

Our manufacturing process is built on decades of expertise, cutting-edge technology, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Each of our seven process phases is designed to ensure that every staple that leaves our facility meets the exacting standards our clients expect.

From the moment raw steel coil enters our facility to the final quality check before shipping, we maintain strict control over every variable — temperature, tension, tolerance, and traceability.

End-to-End Manufacturing

Full vertical integration under one roof

1
Phase 01

Raw Material Sourcing & Incoming Inspection

Every batch begins with premium-grade steel wire sourced from our network of certified suppliers. We accept only materials that meet our rigorous incoming specifications, ensuring consistency from the very first step.

🔬
Spectrometer Analysis

Each incoming steel coil is tested for chemical composition, verifying carbon content (0.60-0.80%), manganese, and silicon levels meet our specifications.

📋
Mill Certification

We require full mill test certificates (MTC) for every heat number, ensuring complete traceability from steel melt to our production floor.

📏
Diameter Verification

Laser-based micrometers verify wire diameter across multiple points, ensuring uniformity within ±0.01mm tolerance before processing begins.

🏷️
Batch Tracking

Each coil receives a unique batch ID linked to our ERP system, enabling full traceability throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle.

2
Phase 02

Precision Wire Drawing & Annealing

Raw steel wire (typically 2.0-3.0mm diameter) is progressively drawn through precision dies to achieve the exact gauge required for each staple type. The wire undergoes controlled annealing to achieve optimal tensile strength and flexibility.

Multi-Stage Drawing

Wire passes through 6-8 drawing stages, with each stage reducing diameter by 15-20%. Synthetic lubricants ensure smooth drawing and prevent surface defects.

🔥
Controlled Annealing

Wire is annealed at precisely 650°C in a nitrogen-atmosphere furnace, achieving the perfect balance of hardness and ductility for reliable staple performance.

📊
Tensile Testing

Every drawn wire batch undergoes tensile strength testing, verifying strength ranges of 1,200-1,600 N/mm² depending on the staple grade specification.

🔄
Surface Inspection

Automated optical inspection systems scan wire at 500+ images per second, detecting surface imperfections as small as 5 microns.

3
Phase 03

Cold Forming & Precision Stamping

The heart of our operation. Precision cold-forming machines bend, cut, and shape the drawn wire into finished staples at speeds of up to 400 staples per second, with tolerances held to ±0.02mm.

🏭
High-Speed Forming

Servo-driven forming presses operate at up to 400 SPS (staples per second) with synchronized wire feed, bending, and cutting mechanisms.

🎯
Die Precision

Custom tooling dies are CNC-machined from hardened tool steel, ground to ±0.005mm accuracy. Dies are replaced on a scheduled maintenance cycle of every 5 million staples.

📐
Angle Precision

Crown-to-leg angles are held to within ±0.5°, ensuring perfect stapler feeding and consistent paper penetration every time.

🤖
Inline Vision System

Real-time machine vision inspects every 50th staple for dimensional accuracy, automatically rejecting non-conforming units.

4
Phase 04

Surface Treatment & Finishing

Freshly formed staples receive their protective coating — either zinc electroplating for corrosion resistance or our proprietary phosphate coating for enhanced lubricity and longevity.

🛡️
Zinc Electroplating

Staples undergo barrel plating in a zinc sulfate bath, achieving a uniform 8-12 micron zinc coating. Passivation treatment provides additional corrosion protection.

💧
Chrome Passivation

A chrome conversion coating is applied over the zinc layer, providing superior salt-spray resistance (240+ hours per ASTM B117 standard).

🧴
Dry Lubricant Application

A micro-thin dry lubricant coating is applied to reduce friction during stapling, extending staple life and reducing jam rates by up to 40%.

♻️
Eco-Coat Option

For eco-friendly product lines, we use a water-based, non-toxic coating derived from plant-based polymers, fully biodegradable and RoHS compliant.

5
Phase 05

Quality Control & Testing

Before any staple is approved for shipment, it passes through our comprehensive quality control lab. We perform dimensional, mechanical, and corrosion testing on statistically significant samples from every production batch.

📐
Dimensional Verification

CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) verification of crown width, leg length, crown thickness, and leg angle on AQL-sampled batches every 2 hours of production.

💪
Load Testing

Staples are tested for holding strength — verifying they can securely fasten the rated number of sheets without failure or deformation.

🧪
Salt Spray Test

Corrosion resistance is verified through ASTM B117 salt spray testing. Our premium staples achieve 240+ hours with no visible red rust formation.

🖨️
Stapler Compatibility

Every new batch is fed through a panel of 12 different stapler models to verify smooth feeding, consistent forming, and zero jamming across the industry standard lineup.

6
Phase 06

Precision Counting & Packaging

Our automated packaging systems count, sort, and package staples with remarkable accuracy. Every container is sealed, labeled, and logged — ensuring you receive exactly what you ordered, every time.

🔢
Vibratory Counting

Vibratory bowl feeders count staples with ±0.1% accuracy. Each count is verified by a secondary weight-check system before packaging.

📦
Multi-Level Packaging

Staples are packaged in inner blister packs or bulk bags, then consolidated into master cartons with protective desiccant packs and moisture barriers.

🏷️
Barcode & QR Labeling

Every carton receives a unique barcode and QR code linked to batch data, enabling full supply chain traceability and instant quality record access.

📄
Certificate of Analysis

Each shipment includes a full CoA documenting batch number, material specs, test results, and quality inspector sign-off for your records.

7
