Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Acclimatization in Merzouga

Arrive in Merzouga, meet your guide, and settle into a traditional desert lodge. Evening briefing on desert safety, gear checks, and a welcome dinner with local Berber music.

Day 2: Camel Trek & First Night Camp

Depart at dawn on camelback into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Trek for 4 hours, setting up a luxury nomad camp by mid-afternoon. Sunset photography stop followed by a traditional tagine dinner and stargazing session.

Day 3: Dune Buggy & Oasis Exploration

Adrenaline-filled dune bashing across the southern ridges, followed by a trek to a hidden desert oasis. Afternoon rest, cultural workshop on desert ecology, and campfire storytelling.

Day 4: Deep Desert Trek & Fossil Valley

Full-day hiking through the rugged pre-Sahara landscape. Visit ancient fossil beds and rock art sites. Camp near the sandstone canyons with panoramic sunset views.

Day 5: Nomad Visit & Traditional Crafts

Guest visit to a Berber family camp. Learn traditional weaving, drumming, and desert survival techniques. Shared lunch and afternoon trek back toward Merzouga.

Day 6: Final Summit & Celebration Dinner

Early morning climb to the highest dune for sunrise. Pack down camp, final group reflection, and return to Merzouga for a farewell celebration dinner and certificate ceremony.

Day 7: Departure & Transfer
