SummitX began in 2013 when four friends realized that the best adventures weren't just about reaching the summit — they were about the connections made along the way. What started as a small group organizing weekend treks in the Pacific Northwest quickly evolved into a mission to make transformative outdoor experiences accessible, safe, and sustainable for everyone.

Today, we operate across 5 continents, guide over 200 unique expeditions annually, and maintain a 99.8% safety record. But our core philosophy remains unchanged: the mountains don't care about your resume, only your respect for the trail and willingness to push beyond comfort.
