You should be comfortable hiking 8-14km per day with elevation gains of 600-1,100m. Prior multi-day trekking experience is recommended but not mandatory. We offer a pre-trip training plan upon booking.
We use premium 4-season tents on shared bases. Ground conditions vary (alpine rock, forest floor, beach). We provide sleeping mats, but you must bring a -5°C rated sleeping bag. Restrooms are chemical toilets in camps, with nearby natural options.
Norway weather is unpredictable. Our guides carry satellite phones and make real-time route decisions based on MET Norway forecasts. We have backup indoor activities and alternative lower-elevation trails if conditions become unsafe.
Yes. We require comprehensive travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking, water sports, and emergency medical evacuation. We provide a recommended insurer list and policy template at booking.
