๐ค๏ธ Environment-Specific Tips
Adjust your pack based on where and when you're heading.
Winter & High Altitude
Layering is critical. Add thermal base layers, insulated gloves, a neck gaiter, and vapor barrier liners. Protect gear with waterproof stuff sacks.
Desert & Dry Climates
Prioritize sun protection and hydration. Pack a buff/scarf, electrolyte packs, light breathable fabrics, and an extra 2L water capacity.
Rainforest & Jungle
Moisture management is key. Bring gaiters, anti-chafe balm, quick-dry everything, leech socks if applicable, and extra dry bags for electronics.
Coastal & Water Trails
Waterproof your pack contents. Pack water shoes, a dry bag for camp, reef-safe sunscreen, and extra zip-locks for saltwater protection.

On expeditions longer than 5 days, we arrange hand-wash stations or partner with local services for a small fee. Pack at least 2 full changes of base layers and socks to rotate through. Always wash 200+ feet from water sources using biodegradable soap.
