Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance for standard trips. Peak season expeditions (spring/fall) often fill 3–4 months ahead. Custom private tours require a minimum of 12 weeks for full planning and permit acquisition.

We offer flexible cancellation policies. Cancellations made 60+ days before departure receive a full refund. 30–59 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: credit toward a future trip. All policies are detailed in your booking confirmation.

All technical and group equipment (ropes, stoves, tents, safety gear) is provided. Personal gear (boots, clothing, sleeping bags) is recommended to be your own, but we offer rental packages and a full gear shop at our HQ.

Each expedition includes a dedicated satellite communication device. Your lead guide has direct access to our 24/7 emergency operations center. For non-urgent inquiries, use the emergency contact number provided in your pre-trip packet.
